Beta terms of use

Beta notice: DCB is pre-release software for invited test accounts and test DCB activity. Real-money use is not ready while independent security, financial, and legal review remains open.
Using the service
Provide accurate account information, maintain control of your email and devices, and keep your password and account-recovery codes confidential. Do not use DCB for fraud, abuse, unlawful activity, or attempts to disrupt the service.
Payment authorization
Review the recipient, DCB amount, and payment reference before confirming. A KALE reference identifies a payment request; it does not prove that payment is complete. Check the completed status and receipt in your authenticated account. If a response times out or the outcome is uncertain, check account activity before trying again.
Closed-loop beta
DCB moves through supported, authenticated pilot workflows such as wallet transfers, KALE merchant payments, and eligible merchant refunds within the participating network. No rewards program or rewards conversion workflow is active.
Valuation and redemption
The pilot uses a $23.00 per DCB in-network reference value. This is an accounting reference, not a promise of cash redemption or merchant settlement. DCB is not government-issued currency, a deposit account, or an investment. The pilot does not provide cash withdrawals or guaranteed cash redemption.
Accounts and devices
You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Contact security@dcbsend.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. DCB may restrict or suspend activity to protect users or the service.
Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for accurately describing charges, honoring applicable refund obligations, protecting customer information, and confirming only transactions they are authorized to process. False confirmations or misuse may result in suspension.
Availability and changes
The pilot may be changed, interrupted, or withdrawn. Features, limits, and these terms may be updated as testing and compliance work continue.
